It's only one picture

Here is a picture that Jonathan took of Matthew on his phone last week, when he turned 5 months old:-) He is seriously the BEST baby I have ever had.  He is so laid back and patient.  He is super snuggly and loves to grab my face when I pick him up and slobber all over it, as if he's giving me a kiss!  

 

 

I am feeling SUPER blessed these days, for the family that I have. Not only the one that Jonathan and I have created, but for my extended family on both sides:-)

New Ultrasound pictures

Today I was pleased as punch to get an extra ultrasound from one of the nicest women I have ever met! Anyway, the baby boy is growing A LOT and everything looks great! He is measuring almost three weeks bigger than my due date and weighs in at 5#12oz. She said his head was big (which didn't really make me feel all that good:-/), but check out his lips...HUGE! The very first picture that was on the screen was a side profile and I did a double take and said out loud, holy cow his lips are HUGE! They look even bigger in the side profile. I Can't wait to kiss those lips;-) I think he looks mostly like our Amanda. Hope you all enjoy!

I need some help!

To anyone who lives in my area, that reads my blog, I am in need of your help!!!
I do daycare out of our home and have loved it. Unfortunately, I have two families that will be leaving, one because the dad lost his job (March 1st is his last day of work) and the other is because the dad has a job change and will be moving out of the state (with in a month to two months):-( Anyway, I wish I could say that our families financial situation would be okay without this income, but it won't and I am in need of filling 3 spots. So, if you know anyone who is in need of a great, dedicated daycare provider, PLEASE send them my way! I charge per day, so if the child doesn't come, I don't charge.

I was informed.....

......that I should update......hmmm, well then:-) Life is crazy! Crazy in a very good way, I should add. I love that my life is SO incredibly full right now. With a 12 almost 13 year old girl and 4 other girls trailing not far behind her, there is never a dull moment (that is except when they are sleeping:-))

this was in the summer on our vacation, Megan and I doing crazy face.

Because I do day care out of the house, I don't feel that I have much time to get on here and update with pictures. I do have 5 or 10 minutes here or there to come on and see what everyone else is doing in their lives:-/ I think the other reason I don't come on here and update, is because I am not very secure with my writing. I mean it makes sense to me, BUT the question is, does it make sense to anyone else?? That is why I prefer writing in my journal, no one is judging my grammer or wondering what I am meaning by whatever I am trying to share.

Some news! We are expecting # 6 in early August. I got the go ahead to let the world know from the husband:-) We are extremely excited to be having another one come into our family. If you're wondering if we are trying for a boy, we are not. We are seriously just hoping for a healthy baby. My sister Pam knew she was going to have a boy someday and so I think she was going to keep trying until she had one (sorry Pam I will remove this if this is TMI:-/) Anyway, I guess, I am not that intune with whose coming to me, but that's okay:-)

I truly feel so blessed and at peace with where I am right now. Don't get me wrong, we have some challenging days, where the kids are just trying to figure out how to be humane/communicate, and sure that can drive me crazy, but this is life and I know it will get more interesting/fun with each passing day/months/years!

So there you go person (who I love very much) who wanted an update. Sorry that we are not calling anyone to annouce that we are prego(We will get to it when we have some time:-) I am sure there aren't too many of you who even look at our blog anymore, because of my lack of updates;-) Don't expect any other updates except for what we are having and when the baby is born:-)

Addison's Cheetah Fan Dance

Ok, so we tried to cut the beginning out, so it wouldn't be so long, but when we tried to download the edited version, we kept getting an error message:-(

Background on this video: It was the night before Addison's 2nd birthday, and I was getting the girls to bed. Usually Addison would be going to bed at the same time, but she had taken a super long nap after church (church ended at 2). So Jonathan took the opportunity to get some footage of her. Our fan had started to make a weird noise, which she calls it Cheetah. The best part of the video is towards the end.....she does this awesome crazy dance move. It's a little long, but believe me it is worth watching to that point:-) Enjoy, we have over and over again!!!
